					<description><![CDATA[Mindfulness was once poo poo&#039;ed by the establishment, for many many years. It gained notice when anecdotal data suggested it be better looked at. As the establishment saw no threat of competition, it gave it accolades. We ALL know research can and is biased and can be manipulated.  CBT is a classic example. Yes, it has &quot;research&quot; behind it, and those are duplicated in controlled conditions. Yet it conveniently leaves out the overwhelming number of people for whom it DID NOT work with no explanation of why. NLP is seen as a threat to the establishment as it DOES get results, consistently. NLP&#039;s original audience WAS therapists, by the way.  I&#039;ve had way to many people tell me that CBT didn&#039;t work for them. They don&#039;t care about controlled research, they care about results, the type that NLP gives.]]></description>
